Health Nut Smoothie (a Tropical Smoothie Cafe copy-cat recipe)
Ingredients
  • 1 2 ounce scoop of vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 frozen* banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen* blueberries
  • 1/2 cup frozen* mango cubes
  • 2 Tablespoons fine almond meal/flour
  • 1/2 cup whole milk or almond milk*
  • 1/2 cup water
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
Recipe Notes

Tropical Smoothie's original "Healthy Man version did not use milk, but instead used a thin, pumpable vanilla yogurt. I simply opted for milk because I always have some kind of milk in my fridge, but don't always have yogurt. If you prefer to leave out the milk, you can use 1/4 cup of vanilla yogurt and increase the water to 3/4 cup if needed OR just leave the dairy out altogether and add more water.
