Chocolate Toast Spread | Easy + Homemade

  • 1 Tablespoon honey
  • 1 Tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 Tablespoon raw coconut butter (such as Artisana Organics)
  • 3 Tablespoons unsweetened almond butter
  • 2 Tablespoons cocoa powder
  1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a microwave safe bowl and warm gently for 10-20 seconds.

  2. Stir the mixture until smooth.

  3. Add almond butter and cocoa powder. Stir again.

  4. Spread on toast, bagels, waffles or use it as a dip for fruit!

Recipe Notes

Depending on the thickness/dryness of your almond butter, you may need to add more coconut oil if your spread is too thick. 

If your almond butter is very oily, you can add a little more cocoa powder.
